Law Will Play Major Part In Identifying Righteous From Wicked

It is a shame people do not look at the law of Yahweh
as good, practical wisdom on how to live life and avoid so many of the
heartaches we endure.
The law revealed to Moses, and codified in the first
five books of the scriptures are instructions of how to live a good life
from a loving father to his children. No, keeping the law will not earn
you salvation in the kingdom of Yahweh. But it will grant you an easier
time in this physical life and Yahweh promised that! The very reason for
the law seems to be a secret. But we can read in many similar passages
as this: "You shall walk in all the ways which the
Yahweh your Elohim has commanded you, that you may live and that it may
be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which
you shall possess" (Deuteronomy 5:33). We read in the last pages
of Deuteronomy, Yahweh outlines in some detail the blessings for keeping
the law and the curses for disobeying it. Our creator has a system and
order in this world, if we live within the rules we will live richer, fuller
lives. A case in point is that Yahweh does not want us to eat fat of animals,
and modern man has discovered that eating fat does indeed harm us by clogging
our arteries which blocks the flow of blood. Yahweh listed several animals
which are not to be eaten. "Among the beast which
divides the hoof, having cloven hooves and chewing the cud - that you may
eat ...and the swine, though it divides the hoof, yet does not chew the
cud, is unclean to you. Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses
you shall not touch. They are unclean to you." (Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy
14). God's people are not to consume pork, and science backs up
scripture uncovering the many diseases and parasites associated with this
animal.
Oddly enough some want to transgress Yahweh's law to
measure how spiritual they are. This is when the law becomes a spiritual
issue rather than a way to live - "One who turns
away his ear from hearing the law. Even his prayer shall be an abomination"
(Proverbs 28:9). Yahweh can use the law to measure one's obedience.
In fact sin is the transgression of the law (1 John
3:4). One person, after reading Psalm 119,
wondered how anyone would think it is alright to disregard Yahweh's law,
and added common sense would tell you Satan is the one wanting you to break
the law, not Yahweh!
In the latter days, law keeping will play a major role
in identifying the 'righteous from the wicked.' "And
the dragon was enraged with the woman (church) and went to make war with
the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God, and have the
testimony of Christ" (Revelation 12:17). It would be a tragic mistake
to miss the importance of obedience. "Blessed are
those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree
of life, and may enter through the gates into the city" (Revelation 22:14).
The book of the prophet Isaiah (eighth chapter)
gives a clue to exposing deceivers: "To the law and
testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there
is no light in them." Ezekiel adds
of false priests, "The priests have violated my law
and profaned my holy things ...nor have they made known the difference
between the unclean and the clean..." (Chapter 22) (relating to
the restriction to pork eating).
If we are to believe the scriptures, the last days will
be a time of great tribulation and great deception. It will be a time when
everyone must rely on their own study - as Yahweh shall lead them, to know
the right path to travel to Yahweh's kingdom. "Study
to show thyself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needeth not be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).
